Suggestion needed for on-camera light
Most on-camera lights were designed before HD cameras came out. So, they do not cover FX-1's 16:9 wide frame.
If someone has good experience with on-camera light that has full 16:9 coverage, please share some information. ( I have checked B&H's selection, and now almost wanted to build one on my own. ) Thanks, Alex |
Sony's HVL-LBP light is made for HD cameras, dimmable and has a choice of 3 different lense positions.
It's an excellent but expensive light. Cheers Vaughan |
Excellent suggestion. Optically-correct color by advanced LED and all! Wow!
$500 for a low wattage light is tough to swallow. Plus...$100 for the battery. This will sound crude and rude to some....so pardon me: But....if I buy it....I will buy it for it's 16:9 coverage. I will then plug the LEDs out; use the chassis for halogen bulbs. Drill a few holes to let the heat - generated by the halogens - out. Run a 12V wiring. Darn....I should just build one from scratch! Me crazy...hehe. |
Alex, you would be making a big step backward.
