I have always done my slo-mo from regular 60i footage. I have been very happy with the results (PP CS3). I have heard that the in-camera slo-mo works well but it does lose resolution. That is why I never bothered to try it.

I noticed, asd far as I could tell, that you have to be in non record and then hit an assign button to get the cam to record a few seconds in 200 frames/sec mode.

I would imagine that if you are already recording with the media recorder, you can then record some slow mo with the camera, and then edit both clips get that shot then goes into quality slo mo. Haven't tried it yet. Does that sound right?
