Capturing FX1000

Hi everyone. I've got questions regarding capturing HD from FX1000 using Nero.

Please check out this thread and post any info you can.

Thanks in advance.

You could try HDV Split

It is a free program and captures the HDV footage in .M2T format.

Here is a link to download

HDVSplit utility for HDV capturing with scene split - HDV capture utility

Are you still having trouble with Vegas capture Jeff?

EDIT: Should have read the thread you linked to before asking!!!

EDIT 2: You said in the other thread you dislike Vegas capture. So are you still having the dropouts? I just captured a wedding and all three cameras had some kind of dropout issues. I haven't started editing yet (will tonight) but it looks like only a few seconds are missing. I believe if the cameras were having recording dropouts, it would be longer than a couple of seconds. So it may be Vegas splitting the scenes for some reason. I'll no more tonight.

Tim, I only have dropout issues when recording in HD. I've stopped recording in HD but when I do need to I'm going to use HD tapes. Currenly I've been using the cheap sony premiums, and that might be the issue, I don't know.
