Z7 - Some menu items greyed out
 

Hi all, apologies if this is a dumb question.

I'm trailing a hired Z7 for the company I work for, and a few of the gimmikey features that I wanted to test, are greyed out in the menu - like the digital extender, and super slow record.

What needs to be enabled to allow me to select them? Im operating the camera in fully manual, and id upped the shutter speed to 2000 in anticipation of recording at higher fps

any help would be much apreciated. The manual isnt any help- just describes what the modes do, but doesnt explain why they are greyed out

Ah, solved my problem

- those modes cant be selected in 1080p- the cam needs to be in 1080i

The manual is pretty useless, but it's there in page 106 of Troubleshooting... "Menu Items Greyed Out"

Kinda off topic, but I wish that it was easier to switch between 1080p & smooth slow record. Pretty sure the assign buttons can't make it a one touch switch.
