Data Display on external monitor HRV 270

Is there anyway to get the data display on the view finder to show up on an external monitor? When I go to the menu it shows up on the external monitor. However, when exiting the menu the data that shows in the view finder and the LCD display will not show up on the external monitor. I would like to see my f stop and settings that show in the LCD on the monitor. It really negates the value of an external monitor on this camera.

Thanks

Hello Folks: I have asked this question before with no answers. Anybody able to get the information displayed on the eyepiece to show up on an external monitor? Surely somebody has noticed this problem....... Then again I may be doing something stupid as usual. If you are able to get the info displayed on the eye piece to display on you external monitor please let me know. I have a shoot this week where it would really help.

Thanks

Hi, Ronnie . . .

To see all the on-screen data displayed that you are seeing in either your viewfinder or LCD panel, simply go to the "display menu" and then scroll to the "display output" option. Then change the default "LCD PANEL" to either "V-OUT/PANEL" or "ALL OUT" and select. You now will have all of the data that shows on the camera to show also on your external display monitor or device.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

I'd like to follow up on this. I have a Z7U.
I am experiencing the same issue with my monitor out.
I tried all options including "ALL OUT" but no avail.

I can see the menu screen and all but right after I close it, I can only see a flash of the on-screen display then it disappears.

I tried resetting the power & batteries to no avail.
