I liked the review. Enjoyed the demonstration of spot focus and focus transition in that review. Will give it a go myself!! Been doing everything manually here :-)

I liked the review as well. As for the work I have done with the camera, moire has not been a big deal at all.

You will not see a lot of defects unless you look for them! I occasionally do spot moire on my footage but seriously it doesn't worry me at all... 3 years ago I had Pansonic HMC72's with 3 x 1/4" CCD chips and if you pointed it at a brick wall it went crazy with moire!!!

Yeah I did like Philip's review, sure he didn't cover everything but what he did cover he did it well and it was a convincing enough review for someone to say, "I like this camera" ....A nice primer for someone looking for a new model.

I agree. It's similar to seeing Micky Mouse in a Jackson Pollock painting. Once you see Mickey, you're done as you see Mickey always in that particular painting. :)
