Does anyone check out the SELP18105 G Lens
 

Does anyone make any shoots with this lens? Does it really zoom faster/better?

for me the range of zoom would be mainly enough to use.
So i wanna get rid of the superslow Zoom of the Stocklense...
And the jerky zoomstartfocusproblem.

Hey Michael

For me it seems rather expensive for an F4 zoom!! For half that price you could get a manual lens that's at least 2 stops faster. Do you really need a super smooth zoom or a zoom at all?? I mainly use the zoom to change focal length!!

If it was a constant F1.8 THEN it would be awesome !!!
