Third Party Lenses Sigma and Image Stabilization

If I get the alpha adapter

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...OUNT_LENS.html

and then buy a third party lens with image stabilization like these sigmas.

will the image stabilization work for the lens on my FS-100?

Just so you know, those links all link to the same page, which is just B & H. Try finding the link again and reposting.

I just got my FS100 so still learning the camera. I think that the only stabilization is going to be from the lenses. I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, but I believe the SIGMAS have built in image stabilization. That should work right? Also there is a sony alpha mounted tokina 11-16 would I be able to use autofocus?

Re: Third Party Lenses Sigma and Image Stabilization

According to manual:

A-mount lenses
• You need a Mount Adaptor (sold
separately) to use A-mount lenses. For
details, refer to the operating manuals that
come with the Mount Adaptor.
• When an A-mount lens is attached, you
cannot use the auto focus and auto iris
functions. You may not be able to use
certain A-mount lenses. For the
compatibility of a particular A-mount
lens, visit the Sony website in your area,
or consult your Sony dealer or local
authorized Sony service facility.

So, no auto focus, no auto iris. But no word of stabilisation, my guess is it should work.
