Moving Images on FS 700

Just noticed somthing a bit weird on my new FS 700 Cut it short camera on tripod locked off pan & tilt brand new Tamron 70 300 image staybalised lens when IS is turned off image rock solid as soon as you turn it on its as if you are turning the tripod up and down and side to side not just a bit but quite a lot can anyone explain why it does that please. Thanks Wilf Davies.

That is normal behavior.

IS in the lens gets confused when you put it on a tripod. It is too steady for it to deal with.

Always turn off IS when you are mounted on a tripod or steadicam.
