Carrying Bag

I just get TRV950 and would to get a good carrying case... any recommendation?

I just bought a Porta-Brace bag. Not cheap, but it is very well made, and seems to be widely recommended.

Hi
I got the Lowepro Nove 5 AW. It's a nice bag, everything fits well. Snug, but well. At times I think I might need something bigger in the future, but for now it's great--and no bigger than I need. I hate having too much stuff to carry around...

And since the 950 is a little bit smaller, overall--no XLR's, right?--then it would be great, I think. All weather, and looks good.

Thanks, let me check it out.

This is my GL1 camera bag-

I got tired of not having enough room for everything.

Great bag.

I use a Nike waiste pack that I belt around my waist. Either my pdx-10 or EOS10D can easily fit in. It's also got a front pocket for extra batteries etc.

Hard shell case

I have the Sony aluminum style hard case for my PDX10 and am impressed with it.

It looks good too, very pro.

I'm going with Chris and his Lowepro Nova 5 AW (all-weather) recommendation, since I own one and think it's a very good case for the money, although I own the older model, the non-AW.

I use a Lowepro Vidcam 5 for my PDX-10. It was not expensive and has plenty of room, although I have to remove the XLR adaptor.

Here's a link to the info about my LowePro Nova 5 AW at B and H. I got it locally, in Washington, DC for about $70USD. Nice price for the quality of the bag.

PortaBrace is great, but for lean & mean I really like the Tamrac 973 for my TRV 900 plus accessories. It's discontinued, but here's a url for similar tamrac bags.

It's got room for all the basics and I like the variety of carrying options. It's a nice little bag, and if I'm moving around alot I'll just shoot while wearing it over my shoulder for quick & easy access to filters, my WA, etc.

Thanks for all your inputs... I order the LowePro Nova 5 AW, even though it is a little bit bigger for just TRV950, I guess for my future goal (plan to get PD170) It is a good bag, the price is reasonable.

Angela :)
