using PDX10 in europe
Hello all,
i will be traveling to Europe soon, (Ireland specificly) and see in my manual and have heard from others that the camera ac adapter is good for 110volts to 230 volts 50/60 hertz.. i am using camera in US, and from what i have heard, i can buy a plug adpter for Irealnd, and just plug the AC adapter right into the wall? I am very hesitant to do so.. i know you can purchase power converters to step the voltage down.. but i wish to travel light and am trying to find out if i can just use the plug adapter ??? i know there are some European users that frequent this sight, and seek their assurances.. thanks.. Don't worry Mike, you can plug your Sony straight into an Irish (or Welsh, or English) wall.

Hello,
thanks so much for your reply.. It has put me at ease knowing this info about the power system and my camera.. Mike M |
I did exactly this here in ireland last week.
The SONY power supply will do the conversion for you. All you will need is a 3 pin Ireland/UK plug adapter to connect to the SONY supply. Regards P |
