Yeah, I did an in store comparison of the DCR PC 120 and the VX 2000... the colors, clarity and low light capability were sooo much better with the ?x2000 that it was hard to believe..

It's good to know people are taking nice shots with the VX2000 in Chicago.

Yeah, I'm thinking that if I go Vx2000, why not just go the extra mile and get the PD 150.

I was really curious to know what people thought after reading about "floating pictures" with some of the different three chips out there..

Can you define the term 'floating pictures' for us? I for one have not heard the term.

In a store, I'd guess the 120 might come out second best to the 2000. Outside, I'd be surprised if the difference were that much.

I've not played with a 120 which is a higher-res version of my PC110 so I'm not talking from direct experience.

But my PC110 footage cuts together with my PD150 and DSR-300 with no problems when I'm outside in the daytime. I make a fair amount of money having someone shoot cutaways and tight shots with that camera while others shoot the bigger cameras.

Inside or in the dark and it's another story.
