VX2000 and RM-95?

I just got a VX2000 and a RM-95 (the special service remote) but I am having trouble interpreting the data. I don't have the service manual unfortunately, but I have gathered this much info.

6. Record of Use: Page 2, Address A2 to AA Address Function Remarks
A2 Drum rotation counted time (BCD code) Minutes
A3 Hour (L) 10th, 1st place digit
A4 Hour (H) 1000th, 100th place
A5 User initial power on date (BCD code) Year After setting the clock, power on date is set(?)
A6 Month
A7 Day

I'm having trouble translating the numbers I have into actual time. Here is what I got:

A2 = 42
A3 = 54
A4 = 0
A5 = 00
A6 = 05
A7 = 01

So from this data am I right in saying that the camera has 54 hours and 42 minutes on the heads, and was powered up on May 1st 2000? Anybody out there read this differently? Looks almost like Algebra! :-)

Now that I think about it, maybe it means 5hrs 42 minutes...

Hmmm...

I don't have time to get back into Binary Coded Decimal but here's a web site that should help:
