Mini Rover or Ultimate Rover

I am about to purchase either the Mini Rover or the Ultimate Rover and I had a question for those of you who use them.

With the Mini Rover, can you still mount the Beachtek XLR adapter under the camera or does it make the system out of wack?

With the Ultimate Rover, since the beachtek is built in and it is made of aluminum does it seem to bulky or is the balance the same as the Mini Rover?

Which do you prefer and why.

Thank you,

Steve

I own a beach tech and a mini rover. Yes the beach mounts under the camera and the mini rover attaches to it. Having them separate gives me more flexability.

I can also see where the ultimate rover might have it's merits but I'd want to try it for feel and balance.

( if you buy the mini rover set the guide pin into it's thread with some locktite. It likes to loosen up and wind up insode the Beachbox.)

Thanks for the input Brian. I just ordered the ultimate rover because it seems to be more of what I need. I will let you know when I get it in on how it feels.

Steve
