PD-150 Zebra Mode , Help !
 

Well,
I bought the PD-150. I am soooo happy with it but I have a question/problem:
In the Zebra Mode, whether I set it on 70ire or 100 ire I still get hot (zebra) spots. Even on a low level ligting with one stinky light bulb I still get that on my subjects. What should I do. Is it this sensitive or I should not even care about the Zebra pattern and turn it off and go on filming and worry about it when I am editing with Final Cut Pro 3.0?
Please tell me, it is driving me crazy thinking I am not doing a good job ! :0)

P.S. I don't even know what IRE is, lol, and further more, can just one bulb make the subject's forehead this hot?

BTW sorry if I sound stupid with my question, this whole new DV filming is new to me. Thanks guys for your reply in advance :)

as far as you use automatic mode zebra does'nt matter, you cannot change much anyway. I've used 100% zebra when working in manual, and turned iris one stop down so there is'nt any zebra in wf. Those DV cameras give white clipping quite easily when overexposed.

also use the manual settings for exposure!
also on t he (vx2000) i will zoom in on the subject auto expose then manual to see where the cam exposed and adjust from there then frame out the shot
