Hello everyone...
I am new to this forum. I am looking into purchasing a new 3 CCD camera and i like what i have seen and heard about the VX2100. I have a question though, has anyone used the raynox MX-3000PRO fisheye on the VX2100? Not a bayonet mount but threaded mount. How well does it preform? Any vingetting?
Thanks-Curtis |
To elaborate:
I am a teenager and i love to make videos/movies and websites. I will be filming skateboarding, snowboarding, and documentries. I will also use this camera for nature/wildlife shots. I'm either getting this or the GL2 and i definately think the VX2100 is a better choice, but is it worth the extra money? Thanks again-Curtis |
VX2100: larger cam, larger CCDs, better manual control, better looking, shallower dof, more light sensitive, tougher and doesn't feel like plastic.
Shorter zoom, no movie-mode. |
Curtis - I'll be posting my barely used vx2100 in the mall later today if your interested...

B&H sells it for $2399.00, but you got to email them for a better price.
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=303956&is=REG Don't know too much about that lens, but I know this one has great lens quality and people are crazy over it. A classic. http://www.centuryoptics.com/products/dv/3x_ultra_fisheye/3xfisheye.htm |
The B&H site says the list price is $3,199. Then if you click the link that says give me a better price it says $2,349, is there and even better price?
Also i know everyone loves the Mark II, but i just can't afford to have such an expensive lens, Im just curious it the Raynox has any problems with the VX2100. Thanks for the replys-Curtis |
