Underwater Housing

There's some good stuff on past forums on this topic but I wanted to see if there are any new opinions or experiences with underwater housings. I want to get one for shallow water (15 feet max) videography for my vx2000. It seems that weighing affordability, dependability and ease of use the Ikelite system is pretty good. Anyone have any recent underwater experiences with housings, good or bad, they care to share?

I swear by Gates. They are very tough, the mechanical controls are reliable, and the optics options are better than Ikelite.
