Horrible bleading effect from safety vests

Shooting on a PD150 for local councils and many workers are wearing bright orange safety vests. I am having difficulty shooting them without the orange colour either blazing and bleeding and looking horrible. It kinda dominates the colour on the screen and throws the other colours a bit darker. This is especially bad in bright light. How can I balance the colours better and avoid this from happening. Any techy ideas on why this happens?

You will have to tone it down in post. That's the problem with video and saturated colors.
