how to get separate audio channels

I'm using my pd150 for the first time tomorrow and will be running a wireless and the camera mic...how do I set things so that when I download footage I have two separate audio streams? Or do I split them in post?

Thanks

What I have always done is to set the on cam to channel 1 and the wireless to channel 2. Set levels accordingly-most times channel one is set to AGC and channel 2 set to manual-don;t forget to throw the switch on the audio box of the camera to split the channels. It will say Channel 1-Channel 2 and below that it says Channel 1. THATS what you want. That way the on camera mic is going to Channel 1 and the wireless to channel 2. Also don't forget to set the switches on the channel 2 box. The rear of the audio box. Set the phantom if needed, attenuation if needed.
After that its a piece of cake.

With regards to the post element, when I'm doing 2 audio channels I just import the video as normal into Vegas, duplicate my audio stream and right click the individual tracks telling one to be left channel only, the other two be right channel only. I'm sure pretty much every NLE will do this in a very similar way.
