Copy of proof of purchase for free 8 gb card?
 

Hi. Just a quick question. I have filled out the form for the free 8 gb card, but it says I need to have a copy of a proof of purchase. I looked through all of my original packaging, (none of which I threw out), and I cannot seem to locate one to make a copy from. Is it just a piece of paper that says "Proof of purchase" on it, or is it included with a manual or something?

I believe they need a copy of the sales receipt, as well as the actual UPC from the EX-1 box.

That label with the serial number and bar-code on it? I guess I'll have to cut the box up, as it is stuck on to it.

Yeah, just cut it and send it cardboard and all.

I just cut around the box's UPC code with a razor, peeled the UPC lable and a layer of box off and stuck it in an envelope. You get your card in a week or two.

Wow. I hadn't anticipated the need to go caveman. I thought it would be a little piece of paper or something. Time to get my scissors.
