Clipbrowser artifacts

Yesterday I got my EX3. Quite happy! I checked the downloaded ClipBrowser 2.0 and I noticed artifacts in Avid Liquids. I checked different parametres but no solution. Today I decided to install the version 1.01. that came on CD with the cam. Less conversion options but superb results. Does anybody had similar experiences?

Can you supply some details please. Like what format you exported in etc...

I just put it in MXF and I got those results without changing any parameters. And as I said, with the older version of CB no problem.

That sounds very hard to believe. MXF-export does not change the file contents at all. It only rewrapps the MP4-wrapped media into an MXF-wrapper. It should theoretically not be able to affect picture quality. What kind of artifacts are you experiencing?

Well, even harder to believe after resolving the problem with installing 1.0. The artifacts are squares (movements) or lines (panning).

That sounds like the digital "drop outs" that you can get when error correction cannot keep up with a data stream missing data. Does it look like bad DVB-T reception? No problems with harddrives during all this?

Harddrive or any other bottle neck were an option but I decided to export the clip to MPEG2 SD and the artifacts were still there, using VLC.
