Mailed receipt/UPC/on-line prequalification form to fulfillment center August 15. Card shipped August 29 and received Sept 4.

Definitely quick turnaround.

That's great Ned. I sent mine in on the first day the rebate was out, so my card should be here soon.
I've had rebates on some electronics stuff take 6 months - and some that never arrived!

I wish Sony Australia would sort our rebate out. At least a yea or nay.

I got mine in two weeks after mailing the rebate. Very fast turnaround at Sony USA.

Here it is - 8G just arrived today.

I should be seeing mine in a day or two (Mon or Tue). Hooray!

Received today via UPS. Sent in rebate on August 15. That was fast, though the tracking feature on the Sony website never showed that it shipped.
