32GB cards?

Any news on the availability of the new Sandisk Ultra II SDHC 32GB cards?

Alex Raskin November 30th, 2008 11:53 PM

Just ordered the case - thanks Brian! :)

Here's the link for others. Only $5, and ships free!

I also bought and used another CaseLogic case, which fits 2 combos plus the entire Sennheiser ew100 G2 set in a very compact case. Super happy with that one.

Jay Gladwell December 1st, 2008 10:23 AM

Alex, that's ships free with order of $25 or more.

Alex Raskin December 1st, 2008 10:28 AM

Jay - but of course :) So what I did, I added a prop gun needed for my new short film to the same order. Now the entire order ships free. I really liked the larger CaseLogic case (see my prev. post, so I'm sure Brian's suggestion is also right on target.

Just tested a Panasonic Class 6 32gig card in a Delkin adapter, no dice. I didnt think it was going to work but thought i'd test it anyone as i knew someone with the panasonic card.

Steven Thomas December 1st, 2008 03:15 PM

Actually, I believe the Panasonic 16GB card also does not work.

Joe Lawry December 1st, 2008 03:20 PM

Good to hear, glad its not my Delkin adapter, currently waiting on my Sandisk card to arrive.

Thats the pic from the box same pic is on the version one and version two box you will have to look at the actual card.

Hi Brian. Just to confirm. Here is a shot of the box and the enclosed card. This Delkin card (with no logo) seems to work. The Sandisk extreme snaps in flush and the door on the EX1 closes. The number on the box for the Delkin efilmExpressCard34 is DDEXP34-6in1-1

I got mine from Adorama at 34.95

Thanks for all the great info on this forum

Steven Thomas December 1st, 2008 05:14 PM

Be careful on ordering the Delkin expresscard.
It has been reported that it appears the card that works is actually the older card.
The newer card has the logo DD which does NOT work.

I've just ordered the new one from ebay few days ago.
It was linked on this forum earlier

Just my luck. Anyone have any experiences about the new one?

Scott Hayes December 1st, 2008 06:32 PM

i ordered two and cancelled orders on the Kensingtons. i may open one up and try it
when they get here, if not, back they go. $5 on shipping not a big deal.

The Kensington 7in1 seems to be extinct, like the dinosaurs. Anyone know an alternative? I hoping to avoid reading all 1200 posts in this thread. It's for ex3 so the door closing thing doesn't matter.

Brian Rhodes December 1st, 2008 08:17 PM

Brian when I receive My Delkin readers I will sell some of my Kensingtons

Brian Luce December 1st, 2008 08:48 PM

Thanks! We Brians have to stick together.

Is there an advantage to the Delkins?

Steven Thomas December 1st, 2008 08:53 PM

The door closes on the EX1 with the "correct" Delkin card.
