Anyone using this deck? If so, how do you like it?

Hi Forrest,
I have one. Works fine. I use as recorder in a HD small truck with a Panasonic AV-HS400 switcher.
HD-SDI monitoring and analog monitoring.
Any particular question about it?

Thanks for your reply. My main use would be to down convert from SxS cards or SDHC cards to my DVD recorder with or without a timecode window burn for client review. It could just be through the S-Video out if the deck down converts through that port.

Another possible use would be to master back to and archive onto SDHC cards for certain projects. The final use would simply be personal...I use my EX1 to shoot my daughter's premier soccer matches and it would be nice to use the deck to watch the video directly from the cards in Hi-Def on my big screen TV in the family room with friends without having to use my camera. Kind of silly, I know...but a guy's got to relax some time!
