Need a heads up
 

Getting an Ex1, I've cruised all the boards and the only recurrent problems I've seen are (1) backfocus off, and (2) some handles seem to crack just below the LCD controls. Just want to avoid or head off/fix any problems when I get it (not flaming, honestly, all cameras got some kinda baggage), so anybody know anything else I should get on top of?

Buy your camera and enjoy it! I got an EX1 from B&H last month and I love it. No problems so far. I doubt there is much you can do to be proactive anyway. It is, however, important to buy from a reputable vendor who will stand behind you if there is a problem.
