DC power supply?
 
I know I can power my EX1R off of the battery charger plugged into a 120volt outlet - but not while it's charging a battery.

Has anyone purchased another DC power supply to use in a pinch? and if so, what brand did you buy?

The charger isn't all that expensive if you want the Sony unit:

Sony BC-U1 Battery Charger for Sony XDCAM EX1/EX3 Camcorder :: On Camera Battery Chargers :: Battery Chargers :: Battery Chargers & Accessories :: Batteries & Power :: Equipment Sales :: AbelCine

Don't forget, it's double the normal voltage output. 14.4V instead of 7.2V.
