I have some clues but I'm under NDA. You'll have to wait till next week. The fact that it's on the XDCAM micro site might be a clue.

Are they going to fix the XDCAM-EX's broadcasting spec. deficit in whatever new products are announced? An EX1/EX3 replacement maybe.

Looks indeed like an EX1R replacement with XDCAM HD422 codec.
