up dating camera software

Just up dating my PMW500 camera software.. is it normal that in phase two.. if appears that power is "lost" as the VF does completely dead..

No mention of this in the notes that accompany the up date.. just says that no messages will appear in the VF,not that it will appear to be dead.. !!!

PS On AC power ofcourse
