FS5 Quick Release 15mm Rail kit now in stock at WestsideAV
 

Our FS5 15 mm rail clamp kit has a Swiss Acra interface to quickly release the rails from the FS5. This is very convenient, you can just leave the matte box follow focus etc on the sticks and grab just the camera for some hand held quick B-roll.

And if you use Swiss Acra on your tripod head, then you can use just the FS5 on the sticks w/o the rails at all. Or put a Swiss Acra on your mono pod and quickly put the FS5 on that.


I have switched all my sticks, sliders, jibs, StediCam etc to Swiss Acra, it is more solid than VCT14 that I always used to use and much lighter, then you can use just the FS5 on the sticks w/o the rails at all. Or put a Swiss Acra on your mono pod and quickly put the FS5 on that.


We have four sizes of Acra base plates and two sizes of the dovetail parts in stock.

I am now working on a Handle extension and shoulder rig used with a Loupe on the LCD, as well as a light chest brace for use with the EVF. These will interface with this kit and also be quick release. I also have an Odyssey mounting kit and a couple neat wireless mic holders that will be on the WEBstore tomorrow.
