Sony FS5/FS7 and GPS
 

Hi everybody,


I'm looking for any (advanced) documentation/experience regarding the GPS functionality on FS5/FS7. I've been in contact with Sony PrimeSupport, but they didn't have any more info than that you can see the GPS info using Catalyst Browse.

So does anybody know if this is the only way to access the GPS information? Is it just a registration of location when you hit record or is it a continuous registration? In the XML-file I can see that it's just a single location, but I was hoping that there was more metadata hidden somewhere else – perhaps in the video file itself. Maybe there's some third party software that can access this?
