Brand new Merlin upper spar loose - help.
 

Today I got a Merlin for my XH A1. Watched the DVD and went through the manual in trying to balance it. The problem I'm having is that the upper spar is way loose. It rotates just above the upper locking knob with the slightest pressure. What the heck? It's brand new. I've been unable to balance it because the upper spar and camera stage rotate. Is it a defective unit or is there some way to fix this?
