compactflash question
 

Hi,

I'm trying to make our Sony DSC-V3 to work with the inserted 1GB compactflash memory card but it is not reading it for some reason. It works fine with the memory stick pro. This compactflash card is from a friend who says he has pictures on it and he doesnt want them deleted. I'm new to this type of memory, does it need to be formatted to be recognized?

I have figured this out already.

The camera has a switch between memory stick and compactflash which needs to be set to the apropriate one.
