My first backdrop... what do you think?
Some friends asked me to do portraits of them and I figured it's finally time to break down and get a decent backdrop and some lights. It's stuff I've wanted for a long time but never got around to affording. Since I don't know much about backdrops I'm posting what I'm looking at for critique:

I'd love to try cold lights but it's about $1000 for a decent start in that game :/ Those lights are kind of cheapy, but since I borrow lights now they'll be a step up. If I make a movie I'll get better lights. That's about all I can afford :P Let me know what you think, thanks much! |
For a simple studio shoot, that should be more than enough.
