One-Sheet Art

I was wondering if someone could tell me what exactly are the specs for "one sheet art" that some festivals call for?

Please forgive my ignorance. Is it a poster? A poster and small photos all on one sheet? Logos as well?

Is there a standard size? Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

A one sheet is a standard size movie poster like you would see at the theater. Posters of different sizes are measured in multiples of that unit, such as two sheet, three sheet, all the way up to billboard size. I'm unfamiliar with what specs festivals might be calling for. You need to be more specific. I'm going to assume they want art that could potentially be used for a poster. I would guess that would be full size at at least 170 DPI. That's a pretty huge file. I've never heard of a festival asking for this kind of thing. Aren't you usually responsible for having your own posters made? Maybe they just want a PDF of your poster or something.

Hi Marco.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going by the specs laid out by withoutabox.com. They just said "one sheet artwork."

I'll just do a poster and upload it.
