has anybody ever tried to draft a small business plan to ellicit funding from the private sector? ie, doctors, lawyers....doctors, lawyers: people with money to invest? I found some information on the website for the securities and exchange commision on offering pieces of a movie as securities, like stock but traded and sold on a lower, private level. if so, how successful were you?

and has anybody ever applied for a small business loan for the purpose of film-making? its supposed to be tailored for riskier ventures, and this is definitely risky. What state was that in and how did they respond to your ideas?
