How much should I charge - video explanation

Excellent video that goes into things you should consider when setting a rate. Great for newbies. Focuses on Daily Cost of Doing Business.

Good catch, Craig but I REALLY wish he hadn't gone with the $10 per hour "example"... Going to have to do some explaining to clients if they watch that!

I also factor in amortized cost of ownership/replacement on gear when calculating my costs, either in terms of depreciation per year or life expectancy in hours (in the case of tape cameras and VTRs).

Good video. I do agree that he should have said "I'm using ridiculously low figures so you focus on the concepts rather than the numbers."

I picked up on that when his example cost of gas was $1...
