Postproduction Service Equipment Sales Tax Exemption

The State of California provides a 5 percent sales tax exemption on the purchase or lease of postproduction equipment for qualified persons.

Officially, it's called Teleproduction or Other Postproduction Service Equipment Sales Tax Exemption (Regulation 1532) and it provides a 5 percent exemption from state sales and use tax to those who qualify under this provision.
