One thing I've been trying to keep in mind in recent years is that while I am trying to convince clients to choose a smaller, local, small business video firm, I should consider choosing smaller, local, small businesses for my purchases. Most locales have webhosting locally, and prices are generally competitive to the above big boys. Consider them, as well.

Mehhh, the moment kinda passed me by. I've suddenly become preoccupied with the notion of renovating my kitchen & trying out P90x. :)

One of the themes you might want to look at is called "Striking'. It's one of the most customizable templates available and it's well supported by the developers, who are not 14 year old kids, but very experienced developers and programmers.

Some might think that if you buy a template your site is somehow going to look the same as someone else who bought the template. Quite to the contrary. Customization changes all of that.
