Goals for 2016?

So anyone have any goals for the New Year they have (business-related)??

Personally, I'm just looking to get better on the business end of things. Keeping track of income/expenses, scheduling, taxes etc. Even venture into advertising & promotion better for more business & corporate web/video work..

As I mostly am here for the wedding videos, last year I migrated more into my DSLR style VG900 I want to use that more as my main camera. Maybe upgrading at the end of next year, or beginning of 2017, but I'm good with that for a while, imho at least.

I want to be a more efficient editor.
Learn to legitimately color correct.
Complete one non-wedding project.

Those are actually good ones. For me I'd like to do a few websites for clients, as well as possibly a corporate/advertising video, but due to expense that always was a tough sell for me.

I'd add improve on better labeling & packaging for DVDs for me as well.

I'm going back and forth between the custom DVD case with pictures of the B&G on it, and a rustic style Beetle-Kill box with sliding lid that fits DVDs in clear plastic jewel cases and the USB. I've done both this year, but not at the same time (the custom case doesn't fit IN the box... nuts).

I also forgot... NETWORKING!

I have been slacking on chatting up other vendors and people at the weddings. Just last night I was reminded what the power of personality can do for your business. I had never worked with the photographers, they're higher end (even do some destination weddings). By the end of the evening, we were getting along great. I"m hoping I'll start getting active referrals from them.

Increase my commercial income and clientele, which is trickier than I anticipated.

Also work on refining my Photoshop and editing, streamline some things.
