agreed..

Thus the reason I would think about approaching this form of story telling
is due to our recent colaboration in technology.

or else I would of wrote a book.

so yeah revolution would be a technology aspect, spawned with new ideas
and inovative concepts.

Er...

Ok, i gotta tell you, I went to the International New York Film and Video festival, and sat through a bunch of shorts last year. Most were done on digital video, and they all sucked. Literally, for two hours, i was subjected to dreadful short after short after short. quality made absolutely no difference (tho on the big screen, dv was waaaaay too harsh to watch), and proved that a good story is everything.

I personally am against the idea of DV becoming teh wave of the future, because I feel it will reverse the film industry in an equally negative way. We all moan about how dificult it is to get found out of the thousands out there, but I think that this weeding out process is necessary. I cite the film festival above as an example - without a weeding out process, you get a lot more crap than gold. Anyone can make a movie; anyone can raise the funds, rent the camers, etc, and make a movie shot on film. The process is very dificult, but it definitely gets rid of those who probably shouldnt be making movies in the first place.

anyhow, thats my two cents.
