It does sort of beg the question, was there any way to make it a 2 day shoot? Or even 1.5 days, just to make it somehow less brutal. I guess the accomodation issue may have been part of this, considering it was a "remote BC lake"--but you Canadians are all hearty camping types, right???!

Charles, as Keith pointed out, it was pretty much we do all the stunts/fight oriented stuff on that day, or it didn't get done. That was also one of the only days the stunt/fight choreographer was available. We did shorten alot of things and did multiple camera shots on the fight scenes to speed that up. However, due to the two guys leaving at 10am, we had to re-write part of one scene, which was a pain. Most of our non-shooting time revolved around choreography of the fights.


The lake wasn't really that remote, about an hour and a half out of the city. However, it gets packed with campers over the weekends, so that limits the empty days to Tuesday through Thursday.
And yes, I am the hearty camping type. :)
