Just purchased DVFilm Maker

Just purchased DVFilm Maker & I have a Canon GL-2........do I shoot frame mode or not?

I want the non-frame for higher res. right?

I think you don't want frame-mode. I'm not sure but it sounds like that's a in-camera de-interlacer, and since you purchased DVFilm Maker which has a much better de-interlacer you want to use that instead. I don't know what non-frame is, sorry.

It's the 'normal' mode, which I believe is interlaced.

I'm 99% sure that's what I need, but I wanted to be sure.

I believe your comment on the 'better deinterlace' is accurate.

Don't use frame mode, and be sure to set your shutter speed to 1/60 sec. You should take a little time to read the online help and FAQ on their site http://www.dvfilm.com/maker/help.htm#other
