Makeup

Oh yeah, one other thing...makeup. What is a good makeup product to use to take away the glare off the actors' faces? Thanks. -Mat

Powder.

I've seen actors use these paper things (wish I knew the names) to wipe off sweat on one side, then powder with the other side. Nice.

Make sure the powder matches their face--light powder would be good for a pale guy like me, even though I live in sunny South Florida, but it wouldn't on darker-skinned folks. And vice versa.

Most actors handle their own makeup, but you can hire someone. Just beware of a daily kit fee (anywhere from $50 to $200 a day, if not more, depending on the person, quality/quantity of makeup, number of actors, etc.).

Out of curiosity, where do you get powder, just from cosmetics at a department store?
