Is audio affected during pull down?

Hello, I will be taping a music video soon. I plan on using nattress filters on the final edit to give it a nice look. I want to convert the video to 24p using the Nattress filters. My question is, how will this affect the audio? I will be using FCP to edit the video and was wondering if the audio will be affected by the pull down? Should I expect any mismatch between the audio and the video? How can I avoid it?
thanks very much in advance.
regards,
Jim

depending what framerate it was originally in, yes, the audio will be off sync. But it isn't a big problem as you can speed up/slow down the audio by just a small fraction to fix that, with unnoticable results. Someone else should be able to explain it better, or have a better suggestion than I can provide hopefully.

Jimmy,

If you convert from 29.97fps (60i) to 23.976fps (24p), then your 48kHz audio will be in sync. If you convert to straight 24.000fps (24p), then your audio will drift by one frame every four minutes.

Thank you Joshua. I am planning on converting to 23.976 It is good to know I should not see any problems.
thanks
Jim
