Heath,

You were my friend even before. ;)

This myspace is weird but it's a phenomenom amongst teenagers, a prime demographic for our film.

Here's what it did for "Stick it":

Surprising you have hundreds of thousands of friends there. I've been on myspace since 2003 when Friendster almost went subscription with fees. I have one for my next film, www.myspace.com/904am

Excellent. Where can we see a trailer?

We haven't shot yet--late July/early August. 2 week shoot. If you have time, I'll email you a copy of the script.

Excellent (Tomorrow is Today), hope it gets picked up and distributed.

After years of watching Kevin Smith's movies, it's odd to see a Jersey flick without d**k and fart jokes. The imagry was really beautiful though, and it looks like a winner.

Hey...cool! My short "Harker" was shown before Vampire in America at the Newport Beach Fest!! Small world! :)

My friend's horror film, IN THE FLESH, was shot in 50i with CineFrame 25 on and then converted to 24p using Graeme Nattress' solution (it's written up in the new HDV book). It looks GREAT and we're hoping it gets into a few horror film fests!

Did you see the film?

They have another screening tonight in Sacramento.

Pretty good film I thought...

Frederic,

Excellent trailer! Very nicely shot. I'm very excited for you and I hope the best with the film. I'm also very much encouraged too. I'm shooting a film next year with my Z1U (and Redrock micro35), and after seeing your trailer, it proves that (in the right hands) the Z1 can totally achieve that 'high-end' film look.

Thank you, and as I said before, best wishes for your film.

I'm 3 weeks to the day from production on my next film, and Frederic's film is pumping me up! I think the key is to:

1. Have a great script.

2. Be skilled as a director (or hire one).

3. If you can afford it, hire a line producer to run the set.

4. Find an excellent DP, like I did and so did Frederic with his DP.

5. Get a good light, grip and electric package.

6. Find an excellent crew.
