I know Rob, but just in case he does visit the forum again. But it's more for other people like him and I. Especially in LA since I am based here. I love to help other people make their film. Because I know the joy of completing one, it's a team effort.

Hey Jun Tang -

I'm moving back to LA sometime soon, but in the meantime if you have anything really interested happening let me know. I've got a HVR-Z1U and I've got a few places I can crash in LA. If it's a paying gig I'm there in a flash...but, if it's just super-cool I'd consider flying myself out.

Hey Christopher,
You website looks really nice. I hoping to get a website up and running. I read that you "only" produce HD stuff. I do have some projects lined up. I am shooting a short June 3-5. Depending on when I can get the location. It's all going to be using the Panny DVX100a.

It's a NO budget type thing. Because all the budget I do have is going into getting the gear. I'm sure you can relate. But, I am excited. I suppose to get my Lowell DP light kit soon.

Hopefully, not far from the distant future I have my own HD production.

And Christopher, if you are going to move out to LA again, let me know. If you have any projects you will be working out here also let me know.

Hi Jun,

June might work out - I'm definately going to be there in April for about a week. Maybe I can help with pre-production? I'm going to NAB in Vegas first, but I'll be in LA for the rest of that week in April.

cool, cool, cool christopher.

Here are the gear that is available to me thus far.
DVX100a, Lowell 4dp lights, pvm 13" sony monitor, glidecam v8, k6/me66, premiere pro 1.5, after effects 5.5, and a internal car rig.

I still need a tripod and a few audio gear, and some lighting gel.

I appreciate your help. I am going to be straight with you. There is no pay. But they will have producer credit and rights to profit. Of course it's a short, so making money is not highly. It is more for exposure. I plan to send to film festivals.
This will all be written out contracts. I don't believe in false promise.

If you fly out here around the date we shoot, I'll see if I can pay you out of my own pocket. The contract however will be redone so there isn't any profit for you if you get paid.

if you work with a glidecam v8, even better.

here is my direct e-mail tangfilms@yahoo.com

we'll communicate better that way.

got to go

Just want to thank to this forum. By posting on this forum I now have a partner in our newly form productions company. We are shooting a short within a month.

Thanks
