Shooting Starts On My No/Low Budget Feature - "Dark Souls"
I posted mention of this in the JVC Camera forum, but then figured it would probably have wider interest...
Saturday was the first day of shooting on my no/low budget feature, "Dark Souls". It's a supernatural thriller geared towards being shootable on next to nothing. It's being shot in HDV, using the JVC HD101E. I was pretty happy with the first day's results. You can see some frame grabs and behind the scenes stills here: http://www.caliburnproductions.com/DSDayOnePics.html For those who are interested, I've put up the first couple of entries in my Director's Diaries. They're kind of long and rambling at the moment. I'd appreciate any input about what you guys would specifically like to hear about: http://www.caliburnproductions.com/Diary.html Cheers Pat |
Hi Pat
How is it going with your shoot? Finished yet? ;-) Visited your website - all looks great Very interesting production videos Cheers Slava |
Nice lighting
I must say the lighting looks very even and soft. I like it and hopefully that is the look you were going for. :-)

Looks good for lo/no budget. Actors look pro and you have a nice camera and technique. How long have you been making films?

I hope your story is as beautiful as your video stills!
