Hi all..

I am a new member from Sacramento, California. I have been away from film and video for a while, but recently had an opportunity to get reacquainted.

Back in the late 60's I made my first film... 8mm, crude, 20 mins, but I was very proud.

Alas...Life, other experiences and time got in the way. Yet, I was there for the early days of video, but not in a film-making way....

With my reintro, I decided to once again revisit something I much enjoyed in the past. I have a lot to learn, and there appear to be many folks here willing to share and help aspiiring folks like myself. I look forward to this experience.

I managed to pick up a SONY Z1 along the way recently, and have been playing with it, and looking at the results. The camera is "blow your socks off"... me, not so much so... YET ! <g>

I look forward to interacting with you all and to the inevitable words of wisdom you all can give me.
