Anyone in Switzerland?
 

Hi There,

I'm a Canadian (Toronto) Ex-pat now living in Geneva, Switzerland (Girlfriend got a sweet job here). I was a staff videographer with a TV station in Toronto, now doing freelance video production and ENG/EFP work in Geneva. I'm having a bit of a hard time since I don't really know anyone here and I also don't know the lay of the land.

Anyone in the Switzerland area care to school me in the ways of Swiss production?

this is the premier forum for all us English speakin fokes in Switzerland. I'll be coming to Geneva on holiday for a week in September. So if you don't mind I'll look you up at that time. Hey Jesse-

I go to Switzerland every 6 months (have a daughter in Zug)....You can also try englishforum.ch .....Most of the work for camera persons is through Swiss television ..SF.. and you'll have to have the right work permit. I think SF uses alot of stringers/freelancers to get news footage.
