Can't believe I haven't done this yet -- from Houston
Canon XL1s w/ manual 16x lens.
MediaPro shoulder support super crappy tripod soon to be upgraded. Varizoom TFT 5.6" LCD monitor Athlon 1600 XP, 384 MB RAM, Vegas Video 3. Currently working on a movie a friend wrote, a music video and a claymation piece. Probably will not finish any of these three during this geological period. |
LOL, Josh... geological periods tend to be somewhat flexible and forgiving. You'll get some leeway there. Thanks for posting!

I believe Chris will back me up here saying that currently the best camera mountable LCD's are made by Nebtek (right Chris) I've seen pictures of them, and they look pretty sweet. They have a red frame that denotes the difference between the underscanned and the regular image (if I said that wrong, someone should know what I mean), and I believe it's just a better quality product than mine.
That said, It's not a bad tool. It allows an employer to see what you're looking at at a glance, it's made it easier for me to crtically focus (you can tell when the lens is at its sharpest), and it's a nice alternative to hunching over to look in the viewfinder. Don't use it to check exposure, contrast, color, or anything of that nature, as it has its own settings for those. I've tried to match them to the viewfinder, and it never works. |
